Commissions start with a conversation and a rough sketch. We talk about timber, size and what the piece has to put up with, and you get a firm quote before anything is cut.

Dark, even, forgiving. Ages toward honey.
CHERRY
Cherry
Starts pale, darkens for years in daylight.
MAPLE
Hard maple
Pale and dense. Takes a burnished finish.
OAK
White oak
Open grain, tough, handles water well.
Occasional notes
New pieces and open commission slots. A few times a year, never more.
